Bridger #1 1/2 Coil Spring Trap with Offset Jaws
The jaw spread is 5" from outside to outside.
Offset Jaws
Double posted pan for excellent pan tension, also has night latch dog.
12" chain, end swiveled, with 4 way swivel at the end of the chain.
This trap has thick jaws, heavy base, with high levers. A very heavy built trap.
Offset jaws have a slight gap in the jaws. This allows the spring levers to close further when the animal is caught to create more holding power.
It works great for smaller animals.
Target Animals: raccoon, red fox, grey fox, kit fox, mink, muskrats, fisher, etc.
You may want to consider a coil spring trap setter to make setting this trap easier.
